The Boys & Girls Club of Boca Raton is a community-focused facility designed to provide a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for youth development. The building serves as a central hub for educational programs, recreational activities, and social interaction, supporting the mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs organization.

Architects Design Collaborative provided architectural design services, developing a layout that emphasizes accessibility, flexibility, and clear organization of program spaces. The design incorporates a series of interconnected areas that accommodate a range of activities, from learning and mentorship to recreation and community events.

The architectural expression reflects a contemporary approach, utilizing clean forms, durable materials, and thoughtful shading elements to respond to the South Florida climate. Covered entry areas and outdoor gathering spaces enhance the arrival experience while encouraging interaction and connection.

The result is a welcoming and functional community facility that supports youth engagement, fosters growth, and strengthens connections within the Boca Raton community.

Boys & Girls Club of Delray Beach Remodel
Delray Beach, Florida

The Boys & Girls Club of Delray Beach Remodel is a renovation project focused on enhancing an existing facility to better support youth programs and community engagement. The design reimagines the building’s entry and public-facing elements to create a more welcoming and recognizable presence within the surrounding neighborhood.

Architects Design Collaborative provided architectural design services, developing improvements that strengthen both functionality and visual identity. The redesigned entrance introduces a more defined arrival sequence, with covered areas and open gathering space that improve accessibility and provide a safe, comfortable transition into the facility.

The project incorporates updated materials, improved circulation, and modernized architectural elements to support the evolving needs of the organization. Enhancements to the exterior and entry experience help reinforce the facility’s role as a community hub while creating a more engaging environment for youth and families.

Boys & Girls Club of Greater Stuart
Stuart, Florida

The Greater Stuart Club was designed to provide a safe, welcoming, and highly functional environment where youth can learn, grow, and build confidence both inside and outside the classroom.

Architects Design Collaborative provided full architectural services for this project, working closely with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Martin County to create a facility that supports mentorship, educational programming, and daily club operations. The design prioritizes clear circulation, flexible program spaces, and durable materials to accommodate a wide range of activities while ensuring long-term functionality and safety.

Through thoughtful planning and collaboration, the completed facility reflects the organization’s commitment to empowering young people and fostering positive community impact. The Greater Stuart Club serves as a dependable space where youth can feel supported, engaged, and prepared for their future.

Boys & Girls Club of Palm Beach County
Dreher Park, West Palm Beach, Florida

Architects Design Collaborative provided full architectural services for the development of a new two-building campus at Dreher Park, designed to support both Boys & Girls Club programming and broader community use. The project includes a primary program building, a shared-use gymnasium, outdoor playground areas, an open-air amphitheater, and a network of covered walkways that connect the site’s key elements.
The campus is thoughtfully integrated within the existing park setting, balancing new construction with the preservation of surrounding open space. The site design includes new parking to accommodate daily club operations as well as after-hours community access. Landscaping was carefully planned to meet city standards, incorporating existing trees where feasible, relocating select plantings, and introducing new vegetation to enhance the overall environment.

Spanning approximately 4.74 acres, with a 1.77-acre lease area dedicated to Boys & Girls Club facilities, the project reflects ADC’s commitment to creating functional, welcoming spaces that serve youth, support community engagement, and respect the natural character of the site.

Chester A. Moore Gymnasium 
Fort Pierce, Florida

The C.A. Moore Gymnasium is part of a multi-phased redevelopment transforming C.A. Moore Elementary into a vibrant K–8 campus, scheduled to reopen in 2027 as C.A. Moore Academy. The project introduces a new gymnasium alongside enhanced covered walkways and site improvements designed to support both daily campus life and outdoor athletic activities.

Architects Design Collaborative provided architectural design services, contributing to a cohesive campus vision that prioritizes functionality, durability, and long-term adaptability. The new gymnasium serves as a central hub for physical education, school events, and community use, reinforcing its role as a key component of the campus.

Site enhancements improve circulation, accessibility, and connectivity between buildings, creating a safer and more efficient environment for students and staff. Smith & Moore Family Teen Center Boys & Girls Club
Belle Glade, Florida

Architects Design Collaborative provided full architectural services for this 13,000-square-foot facility serving the underserved teen population of the Belle Glade community. Designed as a hub for education, creativity, and engagement, the project supports a wide range of academic and enrichment programs tailored to local youth.

The facility includes dedicated spaces for tutoring, academics, dance, visual arts, a recording studio, and a STEM robotics program, along with a refurbished gymnasium shared with the greater Belle Glade community. ADC’s contemporary design approach emphasizes flexibility, durability, and technology-forward environments that inspire learning and collaboration.

Through thoughtful spatial planning and modern design elements, the project reinforces the idea that the built environment can positively influence perception, confidence, and long-term success—creating a space where teens feel supported, motivated, and empowered to thrive.

FIU HM Hardscape Design
North Miami Beach, Florida

The FIU Hospitality Management Hardscape Design project focuses on enhancing the outdoor environment surrounding the facility through thoughtfully designed landscape and pedestrian spaces. The project creates a welcoming and functional exterior setting that supports student interaction, relaxation, and everyday campus activity.

Architects Design Collaborative provided design services centered on site development and hardscape integration, organizing circulation and gathering areas into a cohesive and accessible layout. The design incorporates shaded seating zones, defined pedestrian pathways, and landscaped courtyards that encourage both movement and informal gathering.

A central courtyard element anchors the space, featuring layered planting, seating, and open areas that create a balanced and engaging outdoor experience. The use of durable paving materials and carefully selected plantings ensures long-term performance while responding to the South Florida climate.

The result is a vibrant and functional campus environment that enhances the overall user experience, providing students and visitors with comfortable, well-designed outdoor spaces that support both social and academic life.

Barry Beach Volleyball
Miami-Dade County, Florida

The Barry Beach Volleyball Courts project is a recreational site design focused on creating an affordable and accessible outdoor athletic environment within Miami-Dade County. The design supports both organized play and casual use, providing a flexible space for students, residents, and visitors.

Architects Design Collaborative provided site planning and design services, organizing the courts within a broader landscape framework that emphasizes connectivity, visibility, and ease of access. Pedestrian pathways, adjacent parking, and open green spaces are integrated to support efficient circulation and a comfortable user experience.

The layout positions the volleyball courts as a central feature, complemented by surrounding landscape elements that provide informal gathering areas and visual cohesion. Durable surface materials and thoughtful site organization ensure long-term performance while responding to the demands of outdoor recreational use.

Boys & Girls Club of Martin County

Architects Design Collaborative provided architectural services for the design of the Boys & Girls Club of Martin County facility in Stuart, creating a safe, engaging, and community-focused environment for local youth. The project was thoughtfully planned with sensitivity to the surrounding residential neighborhood, incorporating increased building setbacks beyond minimum requirements to promote compatibility and reinforce the Club’s commitment to being a positive community neighbor.

The facility was designed to support a wide range of academic, recreational, and enrichment programs, including dedicated study areas, a computer lab, science lab, arts and crafts spaces, and a covered gymnasium for year-round activity. The final design reflects ADC’s focus on creating functional, welcoming spaces that encourage learning, creativity, and personal growth.

FIU-Engineering Building
Miami, Florida

The FIU Engineering Center is a signature academic facility serving the Departments of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, and Computer Science, along with classrooms, specialized laboratories, faculty offices, and the Dean’s and Administration Center. Prominently positioned between the campus lake to the south and Tamiami Trail (SW 8th Street) to the north, the building’s H-shaped plan responds directly to its site, maximizing views, daylight, and campus presence.

Architects Design Collaborative provided full architectural services from early planning and design through construction documentation and coordination. Working closely with the university and consultant team, ADC shaped a facility that supports advanced instruction, research, and daily academic life within a clear, efficient layout tailored to multiple engineering disciplines.

Recognized nationally for its design excellence, the project was delivered under budget and ahead of schedule. The result is a high-performing academic environment that reflects ADC’s commitment to thoughtful planning, functional clarity, and enduring architectural quality.

The Max M. Fisher BGC Club was designed as a prototype facility for non-residential sites across Palm Beach County, establishing a repeatable model for future club locations. Created to serve up to 220 at-risk students during after-school hours, the building supports a safe, engaging environment focused on mentorship, tutoring, and enrichment.

Architects Design Collaborative provided full architectural services, guiding the project from initial planning and design through construction documentation and coordination. The layout prioritizes clear supervision, durable materials, and flexible spaces that accommodate both structured programs and open recreation.

Key features include a canteen with a warming kitchen and an air-conditioned, high school–standard gymnasium that enables year-round indoor activity. The final design balances function, longevity, and adaptability—creating a scalable model that advances the mission of the club while meeting the practical needs of daily operations.

Slomin Foundation School (Award Winning)
Delray Beach, Florida

The Slomin Foundation School, part of The Slomin Family Center, is a nonprofit campus dedicated to improving the emotional and physical well-being of children and families affected by autism spectrum disorder. The project called for a thoughtfully designed environment that would directly support specialized learning, therapy, and daily routines.

Architects Design Collaborative provided full architectural services, guiding the project from early planning and design through construction documentation and coordination. Working closely with the client, ADC developed a campus layout and building design centered on safety, clarity of movement, and sensory-aware spaces that foster comfort and focus for students.
