Orchard Villa Elementary School
Miami Beach, Florida

A vibrant elementary campus in Miami Beach designed to serve approximately 900 students with a full range of academic, enrichment, and support spaces.

Architects Design Collaborative provided architectural planning and design for the administration areas, classrooms, library/media center, music and art rooms, multipurpose cafeteria and kitchen, ESE/resource rooms, and all supporting spaces.

The campus emphasizes color, daylight, and clear circulation. A student-designed mural at the front elevation gives the school a distinctive identity and celebrates creativity within the community.

Middle School Addition & Renovation Aspira of Florida

Miami-Dade County, Florida

For Aspira of Florida in Miami-Dade County, Architects Design Collaborative served as architectural consultant for a three-story middle school addition and renovation.

The project added two floors of classrooms and a ground level dedicated to administration, computer labs, and a conference room, improving campus organization and daily functionality for students and staff. The work was completed on time and within budget, reflecting ADC’s focus on efficient, practical design for educational environments.

FIU Remodeling of Graham Center Forum

Westchester, Florida

Florida International University’s Graham Center Forum—known to students as “The Pit”—is a central hub for campus gatherings, events, and everyday student life, located beside dining, retail, and the bookstore.

Architects Design Collaborative renovated this iconic space to improve functionality, visibility, and flexibility for both daily use and large student events. The updated design enhances the student experience while preserving the energy and identity that make “The Pit” a favorite campus destination.

Cooper City High School

Broward County, Florida

The Cooper City High School project focuses on enhancing the campus environment to support student learning, circulation, and daily activity. The design strengthens connectivity between buildings while promoting accessibility, safety, and ease of movement.

Architects Design Collaborative provided architectural and site design services, developing improvements that create a more cohesive and functional campus. Outdoor spaces and pathways are thoughtfully integrated to support student interaction and efficient circulation. The result is a well-organized educational environment that supports both academic and extracurricular activities.​

Northmore Elementary Magnet School

West Palm Beach, Florida

Architects Design Collaborative provided architectural services for the expansion of Northmore Elementary Magnet School, including a two-story classroom addition, a new administrative building, and a new cafeteria. The design was carefully integrated into the existing campus to improve circulation, functionality, and daily operations for students, staff, and visitors.

This thoughtful addition supports the school’s continued growth while creating a cohesive, welcoming environment that enhances the overall educational experience.

Seminole Middle School

Plantation, Florida

​Transformed one of the first open-plan middle schools into the Broward School District’s updated Ed Spec closed classroom model, reconfiguring the campus to support increased enrollment, modernized science labs, and improved traffic and pedestrian flow. The project included remodeling classrooms, cafetorium, reading areas, and playfields, while addressing complex drainage, accessibility, and infrastructure challenges. Innovative solutions were implemented throughout to enhance efficiency, durability, and learning environments, resulting in a fully upgraded, functional, and future-ready campus

Joe Hall Elementary School

The Joe Hall Elementary School project focuses on enhancing the campus to support student learning, safety, and daily activity. The design emphasizes clear organization, accessibility, and a cohesive environment.

Dillard High School

Fort Lauderdale, Florida

​Multi-faceted redevelopment of Dillard High School to address critical facility needs while supporting the school’s magnet programs. The project included re-roofing, a new gymnasium floor, auditorium, media center, and a state-of-the-art science wing designed to showcase the school’s academic programs. The Science Wing was strategically sited to enhance the campus image, while a comprehensive master plan reconfigured parking, bus drop-off, and site circulation to create a functional, modern campus environment.​

Boys & Girls Club PBC

West Palm Beach, Florida

​​New Design of a Boys & Girls Club on a narrow, residential site in West Palm Beach, creating a building that balances a welcoming residential character with institutional functionality. The design maximizes natural light within budget constraints and provides study areas, a computer lab, science and arts spaces, and a covered gym. Outdoor amenities include a fenced tot lot and a privacy-enclosed future swimming pool, while generous setbacks and thoughtful site planning maintain positive relationships with neighboring homes

Dr. Michael Krop H.S. Entrance

North Miami Beach, Florida

The Dr. Michael Krop High School Entrance project enhances the primary arrival point for a large, multi-building campus. The design creates a clear and recognizable gateway that improves visibility, safety, and circulation.

Architects Design Collaborative provided architectural design services, introducing a covered entry canopy that defines the drop-off area and protects students and visitors from the elements. The curved form reinforces the school’s identity while guiding pedestrian and vehicular movement. The result is a functional and welcoming entrance that improves the overall campus experience.

Stoneman Douglas Elementary School

Miami, Florida

​​This particular School was part of a prototype set of schools built in Miami-Dade County, Its design was geared for a smaller population and also could be accommodated in smaller sites. Used in the inner city where land was costly and difficult to acquire. A two story building with side patios on each central core. The school designed for flexibility in interior layouts. On time and in budget like most of the projects under his direction, this one was one prototype with many repeats
