The Koelling Residence is a private waterfront home designed for a client with a passion for boating and coastal living, located within the Manatee Pocket community of Mariner’s Cay. This contemporary residence features four bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms, and a three-car garage, thoughtfully planned to support both everyday comfort and an active waterfront lifestyle.

Architects Design Collaborative provided full architectural design services, developing a modern, open-concept layout that prioritizes natural light, spatial flow, and expansive water views. The primary living areas—including the kitchen, dining space, great room, and loft-style library—are elevated to the second-floor main level, creating a seamless connection between indoor living and the surrounding coastal environment.

The design is defined by clean lines, expansive glazing, and a distinctive curved roof form that enhances both the home’s visual identity and interior experience. The result is a refined yet relaxed residence that balances contemporary design with the functional needs of waterfront living.

McIntyre Residence (Award Winning)

Miami, Florida

The McIntyre Residence is a renovation and addition project located on a prominent rock bluff overlooking South Bayshore Drive in Coconut Grove. Positioned to take advantage of its elevated setting, the home is oriented to capture views of Biscayne Bay while maintaining privacy within a dense, urban neighborhood.

Architects Design Collaborative provided architectural design services to reimagine the existing residence, introducing a series of interconnected indoor and outdoor living spaces. A central entertainment patio with a pool is enclosed by a CMU privacy wall, creating a secure and intimate courtyard environment. The design is further defined by layered spatial elements, including an office wing, open stair, and upper-level terraces that connect the home vertically and visually. A defining feature of the project is the integration of water elements throughout the design. A 10-by-60-foot lap pool at the second-floor terrace cascades down to the lower-level patio pool, reinforcing the connection between levels while enhancing the overall experience of the space. A rooftop terrace provides unobstructed views of Biscayne Bay, completing the home’s relationship to its coastal surroundings.

Recognized for its design, the McIntyre Residence was featured in 100 Outstanding Homes of Miami, highlighting its distinctive approach to modern residential living in South Florida.

Savannah Key Townhouses (Award Winning)
Jensen Beach, Florida

Savannah Key Townhomes is a thoughtfully planned residential development in Jensen Beach, designed to provide modern, functional living within a cohesive neighborhood setting. The project consists of three buildings, each containing three to four two-story residences, carefully arranged to maximize site efficiency while maintaining a comfortable sense of scale and community.

Architects Design Collaborative provided architectural design services for the development, creating two distinct residential models to accommodate a range of living needs. Each approximately 2,200-square-foot unit includes two-car garages, private patios, balconies, and open-concept living, dining, and kitchen areas designed for everyday comfort and flexibility. Floor plans offer options for two- or three-bedroom layouts with 2.5 bathrooms. The design emphasizes clean, contemporary forms paired with durable materials and landscaped surroundings, creating a cohesive streetscape that complements the coastal character of the area.

Moskowitz Residence
West Palm Beach, Florida

Palm Beach Housing Authority - Drexel
West Palm Beach, Florida

The Palm Beach Housing Authority – Drexel project is a comprehensive redevelopment effort focused on expanding and modernizing senior and supportive housing within West Palm Beach. The project includes the renovation of an existing 100-unit senior living facility, along with the design of a new 100-unit assisted living building and two additional 50-unit supportive and independent living buildings.

Architects Design Collaborative provided architectural design and master planning services, guiding both the redevelopment of existing structures and the integration of new residential buildings within a cohesive site strategy. The project also includes the design of a new three-story administrative office building to support the operations of the Palm Beach County Housing Authority.

Golden Oaks is a multi-building residential campus located on a 12-acre site in Belle Glade, Florida, designed to provide supportive housing for both seniors and veterans. The development includes two new multi-story assisted living facilities alongside two integrated living buildings dedicated to veteran housing, creating a unified community that serves residents with a range of needs.

Architects Design Collaborative provided architectural design and site planning services, developing a comprehensive campus layout that balances building placement, accessibility, and open space. The design accommodates approximately 100 senior living units and 48 integrated living units for veterans, with a focus on creating a safe, functional, and connected environment.

The site plan incorporates landscaped outdoor areas and shared amenities that encourage interaction, mobility, and overall well-being. Careful attention was given to circulation, visibility, and accessibility to ensure ease of movement throughout the campus for residents, staff, and visitors.

The Grand Lakes Complex is a comprehensive redevelopment of an existing 384-unit multi-family residential community in Belle Glade, originally constructed in a two-story garden-style configuration. The project addresses significant deterioration due to deferred maintenance, transforming the property into a modern, code-compliant, and sustainable residential environment.

Architects Design Collaborative provided architectural design and redevelopment planning services, guiding the revitalization of the existing buildings and supporting site amenities. The scope includes the reconstruction and exterior modernization of residential structures, as well as improvements to existing community facilities, including recreation buildings, a daycare center, and a neighborhood retail space.

The design introduces a refreshed architectural identity through a stucco veneer exterior with a cohesive Bermuda-inspired aesthetic, enhancing both durability and visual appeal.
